B-REAL: A keypoint-less behavior platform for offline classification and real-time detection

B-REAL is a pose-free behavior classifier that maps raw video to behavior faster than video frames are recorded, even on a CPU. It matches or outperforms established methods with substantially less training data and enables real-time, closed-loop behavioral experiments with minimal annotation and standard hardware.

Motor Learning and Transfer Are Symmetric Across Hands

Across a meta-analysis of 114 datasets and preregistered experiments with 526 participants, we find that sensorimotor adaptation and interlimb transfer are strikingly symmetric across hands. The results suggest a fundamental dissociation: motor control is lateralized to the dominant hemisphere, while motor learning is supported by a symmetric neural architecture.
